Vintage Hayashi Diamond H.Diamond 8000 Japanese Straight Razor

This rare model 8000 is a H Diamond classic that is set apart by it’s striking design with the laminated tang, bright colors and luxurious materials. This razor has been forged out of the smooth shaving Austrian Schoeller Bleckmann Phönix (aka Phoenix or Fenix) steel which is used in the best Hayashi Diamond blades. This steel known for its fine grain and hardness which produces a high class edge that will be retained through many shaves. For some reason, this steel feels smoother than just about anything.

These eye catching translucent scales with the metallic flake and red wedge combined with the violet pearl tone laminated tang are what makes this such an iconic design. A top class shaver fit for your collection or shaving rotation!

This is a process that requires much time and skill. Every razor is sanitized with alcohol before being securely packed. Note that due to age, all vintage blades will have imperfections.
