It has been forged out of the famous Austrian Schoeller Bleckmann Phönix (aka Phoenix) steel which is known for its fine grain and hardness to produce a high class shaving edge. The blade features a hollow grind which provides an excellent precision for close passes. The result is a blade that is a real kick to shave with.

This is the best of all worlds for a Japanese straight and will be a great addition to any collection!

This razor will be finished on a high end Suehiro, Naniwa, Ozuku or Nakayama Japanese natural stone with a taped spine and then will be stropped with a fine Kanayama cordovan strop for the ultimate sharp and smooth shaving edge. This is a process that requires much time and skill. Every razor is sanitized with alcohol before being securely packed. Note that due to age, all vintage blades will have imperfections. All sales are final and all items are sold as is.
